It most certainly is real, the icing is a specific kind that is never fluid. I would like sheets of marzipan (for extra tastiness). Also, the slope is achieved by cutting a separate cake on the diagonal and placing the two cut halves on top of other cakes, then covered with uniform frosting to look like one cake.
umm... that's not a real cake. i believe it defies the laws of gravity.
